Late Arrivals

If you are unable to keep your scheduled trip for any reason, please let us know so we can allow others classes the opportunity to visit.

We recommend you confirm your bus a week before your trip and again the day before. The museum is not responsible for trips missed because of bus issues.

Please make every effort to be on time; contact us if you are running late. If you arrive late, we reserve the right to shorten your visit.

Group Size and
Additional Admission Fees

Maximum group size is 30.

Thirty students, five chaperones and class teacher(s) are included in the group fee. Groups will be invoiced $5.00 per person, if they bring more than five (5) chaperones to the Museum.

Chaperones

Accompanying chaperones are expected to remain with their groups at all times and are responsible for disciplining the students while in the Museum and in M. Fidler-Wyckoff House Park. Please advise chaperones to refrain from cell phone usage during the school program. Occasionally, chaperones will be called upon to assist with activities.  Please inform chaperones that this may be part of their responsibilities on the trip date.

School Closings

The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is NOT responsible for prescheduled school closings, bus maintenance and half-days, please be aware of them before you schedule a visit.

During the winter season, we will recognize official New York City Department of Education weather closings, but be sure to keep our phone number in your paperwork the day of the trip during all seasons.

Teacher- or Chaperone-led Activities

A Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum Educator will lead the program and the hands-on activities; teachers may conduct an activity in the M. Fidler-Wyckoff House Park (outside the Museum) after the school trip is completed.

Wyckoff Country Store Gift Shop

Visiting the gift shop is fun, but it does take time; so please let your Educator know your class is interested, and we will try to set time aside. Items range in price from $.50-$10.00.
