“I thought this was going to be boring. This was fun!”

Additional Comments =

“We did not get to the slave document activity, but that was OK. My students were fully involved and enthused, and learned a lot. Thank you!”

“The experience was memorable and full of information. My students were literally buzzing with information and questions. The hands-on portions and the experience of being IN an artifact has a really intense impact on my students and I know we will refer to that trip throughout our study.”

“Thank you so much! Shirley (Brown-Alleyne) was very helpful, did a terrific job keeping the children's attention, and patient with us.”

“Seeing a real farmhouse helps the children truly gain a perspective of what it would be like to live in the 1600s. This hands-on experience is more valuable than any history book.”
