Community Partners and Volunteers

Community involvement and participation is vital to making the Wyckoff House Museum a meaningful contributor to the cultural life of Brooklyn. The Museum seeks to engage the community through sponsoring a year-round calendar of free public events, recruiting volunteers, partnering with community groups, and through the agency of the Museum Advisory Board.

Museum Volunteers
Volunteering at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is always a learning experience. Museum volunteers assist with every aspect of the Museum's operation and programs. Come help tend our historic herb bed and learn about their culinary and medicinal uses, learn about caring for antiques and artifacts as you assist with our historic housekeeping, learn more about the House's and Brooklyn's history as you assist with education and public tours. The Museum is particularly eager to find dedicated volunteer guides to give weekday and weekend tours.
